Compensation: $68,000 – $70,000 salary, plus benefits
Our client, a national non-profit public health association, seeks a Senior Product Specialist to join their team! This position operates in a specialized capacity, handling client requests that require working across multiple systems, as well as applying detailed knowledge of the credentialing processes. This role regularly works with Sales, Product, IT, and Finance to ensure accurate order processing, data integrity, and smooth operational workflows.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Customer & Sales Support (30%)
- Process and maintain credentialing and products
- Onboard new customers and resolve billing issues
- Handle escalated client inquiries across internal systems
- Manage renewals and recommend subscription adjustments
- Communicate payment issues and product updates
- Partner with Sales and Product on order resolution
- Lead operations in management’s absence
Financial Processes (30%)
- Apply payments, process refunds, and manage credits
- Complete billing adjustments per policy
- Generate billing and collections reports
- Investigate and resolve data discrepancies
- Process DNR requests and profile research
- Oversee order releases for boards and societies
- Manage user access and system administration
Systems Support (20%)
- Support credentialing and billing systems
- Maintain process documentation
- Assist with system testing and upgrades
- Coordinate API setup and testing with IT
Reporting & Documentation (20%)
- Produce recurring and ad hoc reports
- Analyze subscription and usage trends
- Maintain audit documentation
- Support high-volume order processing and improvements
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 5+ years of experience in a customer service or sales support environment dealing with high dollar volume customers and physician customers.
- Proficient in Microsoft products, computerized order tracking system, CRM tools, and databases platforms.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines.
- Knowledge of financial transaction processing, including credits, refunds and adjustments.
- Ability to generate clear, actionable reports and review data.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills for interacting skills to interact with customers and internal teams.
- Capable of working independently, with sound judgment, to resolve escalated client issues.
